For some reason, I had KISS’s “Strutter” looping in my head the entire time I was drawing this. I guess the piece ended up as a fusion of ’80s synthwave aesthetics and ’70s sexploitation-style advertising—a mix of neon allure and retro attitude that somehow just worked together.
