This illustration was originally created for the cover of "Phantoms" by Klassik ’78—a truly fantastic project. If you’re a KISS fan and haven’t heard this album yet, do yourself a favor and find a copy. In short, it’s the album KISS never released between Love Gun and Dynasty—basically, what a 1978 KISS record should have sounded like.

The illustration includes all four 1978 signature instruments from the KISS members: Gene’s Spector I, Paul’s Iceman, Ace’s smoking Les Paul and Peter’s kick drum.
